Class Reunions

We've worked up a special pricing package for class reunions to make it easier for their organizers to sell tickets. Instead of our normal pricing structure, we charge per-person. This charge changes on the number of people attending because the usual fixed costs (facility fee, bartender(s), etc) spread over a larger number of attendees reduces the per-person cost. The per-person cost does go up slightly at the 75-person mark because after that a second bartender is needed.

If you can't sell as many tickets as you planned, you must make up the difference. For example, if you expect between 75 and 99 people, we'd charge $33.50 per person. If only 60 people buy tickets, however, it puts the price into the 50 - 74 price range, which is $2.50 more per person. So you'd owe us $36.00 per person instead of $33.50. If you already sold tickets at $33.50, you'd have to make up the additional cost (60 x $2.50 = $150). So we suggest selling tickets at the price of the next higher price point. Then you're covered if you don't get the turnout you expected. If you do get as many people as originally expected, you can either refund the additional cost or add those funds to the class coffers for future needs.
