Kyla Martin's bridal shower was our first tea party! They had their own beautiful centerpieces, so they opted for a buffet instead of having the food on the tables (traditional for a tea party). Their tea included seasonal fresh fruit with dip. Tea sandwiches were made on rolls from Spring Street Bakery: turkey, cheese & cranberry, roast beef & cheddar, and egg salad. Two types of mini scones were served, chocolate chip & cheddar, with traditional clotted cream, raspberry jam, and citrus hot pepper jelly. Savories included mini quiches (ham & gruyere, spinach & feta, and italian four cheese with red pepper), and open faced reubens. For dessert, we provided mini cream puffs and homemade brownie bites with chocolate cream.
